BMS Re, the reinsurance arm of independent insurance and reinsurance broker BMS Group, today announces the strategic hires of Thomas Spataro and Thomas Spataro Jr., bringing decades of combined experience developing reinsurance solutions for regional and mutual insurance companies. They will be based in the Company’s Philadelphia office, reporting to Christa Coletti, Managing Director and Philadelphia Branch Manager.
Thomas Spataro joins as Managing Director, with more than 30 years of experience developing innovative reinsurance solutions designed to support clients’ business plans and long-term growth. A trusted industry leader with a deep commitment to delivering exceptional client service, Spataro holds the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designation.
Joining as Vice President, Thomas Spataro Jr. has extensive experience working with regional and mutual-sized companies. He brings technical expertise and a strong reinsurance background from leading global firms. Spataro Jr. holds a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Temple University and the ARe designation.
