Berkay graduated from the Civil Engineering Department of the Middle East Technical University in 2012 and began his career as an Engineer in an international consultant and engineering company.

In 2014, he joined Anadolu Insurance Company in Istanbul as a Senior Engineering, Energy and Property Underwriter where he developed a range of broker and market relationships in Turkey and the Middle East.

Berkay joined BMS in 2019 as a Broker in the Risk Solutions division, where he developed his expertise in Construction/Erection All Risk(C/EAR), Comprehensive Machinery Insurance (CMI) and Contractor’s Plant Machinery(CPM/E) policies. He now works within the Construction team serving clients in Turkey, the Middle East, Israel and the US, developing his relationships and expertise within the London and international market for the direct and facultative reinsurance of property, energy and engineering lines.
