Born and bred in Dunedin, Sue has worked in the New Zealand insurance industry as both an underwriter and broker for 28 years.

After beginning her career as an underwriter, Sue quickly learned her client service focus would be better suited to insurance broking. For a number of years, she worked for an international broking firm before moving to FMR Risk to work along-side the then Managing Director on some of the company’s largest accounts.

Following the sale of FMR Risk to Wesfarmers, Sue worked for Crombie Lockwood’s Corporate team where she maintained her relationship with a number of long-standing corporate clients. In this role Sue also provided valuable knowledge and support to less experienced brokers.

Sue’s attention to detail, technical ability and client centric focus fit perfectly with the ethos of BMS Risk Solutions.
