Brett has nearly 30 years’ experience in insurance roles across both underwriting and broking disciplines.

Prior to joining the BMS Team, Brett held roles with Willis (Corporate Broker), Marsh (Corporate Broker and Commercial Manager Christchurch) and Crombie Lockwood as a Corporate Broker responsible for the provision of service and market placement of insurances for the major clients for the Southern Region, and Head of the South Island Construction and Property Team.

Brett has particular expertise in all aspects of property and construction insurance and has been involved in designing a number of bespoke specialised wordings and endorsements for corporate and institutional clients. Brett prides himself on the consistent delivery of excellent service to his clients. This includes a strong focus on client advocacy during the claim process which he views as a key priority when providing service to his clients.

Brett is dedicated to his clients and leaves no stone unturned in ensuring optimal solutions and outcomes are achieved for clients, underpinning their ongoing success in the ever changing and evolving risk environment they must navigate.
