Rafael began his career in insurance in 2015 at AmWins (formerly Thompson Heath & Bond) after graduating in Business with Law Studies as part of a pioneering rotational graduate programme.

In 2016, he joined the Construction & Engineering division at BMS where he has been responsible for placing large international (re)insurance for Single Construction Projects, as well as managing a large portfolio of Contractors Plant and Equipment programmes worldwide, including North/South America, Oceania and Europe.

Rafael has also been one of the main drivers of several successful US & Latin American Facilities, providing solutions for retail, wholesale and reinsurance clients alike.
