David is a proven leader of organisational transformation to deliver value for customers, colleagues and shareholders.

David has over 25 years' experience in various global financial roles, across a range of industry sectors, including Insurance, FMCG, retail and eCommerce along with a formal background in accounting and legal public practise.

Prior to establishing BMS, David was the South Island Director for Crombie Lockwood. This role included responsibility for building, leading and inspiring a team of over 200 to service the risk advisory needs of 15,000+ clients.

Previous to this, David was Chief Financial Officer of FMR Risk. In the CFO role, David managed the strategic and financial affairs of the business, initiated publicly listed standards of operational and corporate governance and facilitated the sale of the business to Wesfarmers.

David has held Senior Finance roles for a European FTSE listed food manufacturing business and Global News Organisation.

David's willingness to challenge the status quo and an ability to think across different business models, solutions and approaches is core to the experience that David brings to BMS.
