It is with deep sadness that BMS Group announces the passing of our dear colleague, Eugenio Sánchez Belda, who died on 20 December in Seville.
Eugenio dedicated more than four decades to the insurance industry. He began his career as an insurance broker in 1979, founding Sánchez Belda Insurance Brokerage, where he specialised in industrial risks. He later served as President of Eisenar Insurance Brokerage until 2023, when the firm became part of BMS. Following the acquisition, Eugenio continued to contribute his experience and insight as a valued member of the BMS Advisory Board.
Fernando Claro, CEO of BMS Iberia said: “It is impossible to summarise in a few words the immense legacy he leaves behind and the profound void his passing creates. Eugenio will always be an essential part of our company's history and we can never thank him enough. We will miss him dearly and will always remember him.”
