These included services help protect your practice, support your clients, and give you peace of mind every day.
Supplement your policy to cover every angle of your practice.
Add extra coverage to safeguard what matters most in your personal life.
CPA/CPAP members have access to a combined policy that offers comprehensive protection for your professional services and day-to-day practice risks across all work settings.

Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) protects you against liability or allegations of liability arising from a negligent act, error, omission, or malpractice in your professional capacity as a psychologist or psychological associate, including complaints made to a regulatory body.
It covers the cost of your legal defence and any resulting client compensation or damages.

Commercial General Liability Insurance (CGL) protects you from financial loss if you are sued for bodily injury or property damage arising from your business operations, excluding professional services.
This includes incidents like client slip-and-falls, damage to a landlord’s property, and certain advertising or personal injury claims.

When providing telepsychology services, coverage applies only if you are working within your scope of practice and complying with professional regulations in both your jurisdiction and the jurisdiction where your client or patient is located.

The CPA/CPAP policy includes 10 years of Extended Reporting Period (ERP) coverage at no extra cost, protecting you against claims from past incidents after you retire or stop practicing.

Participants have access to a free, confidential professional helpline offering dedicated legal advice on a wide range of practice issues, including privacy and confidentiality, conflicts of interest, third-party information requests, regulatory inquiries, subpoenas, professional misconduct, and ethical obligations.
