Established in 1989, Lloyd’s Community Programme (LCP) is one of the longest-running business volunteering initiatives in London.
The programme offered businesses within the market the opportunity to participate in initiatives that will benefit the local community, particularly supporting the development of schools and the young people in the East London area.
The LCP has a special relationship with the Tower Hamlets Education Business Partnership, helping to identify projects and ideas where a real difference can be made.
Since its launch, BMS employees have been involved in both the Reading Partners programme and sponsoring a Public Speaking competition.
