BMS Launch Specie team

BMS Group announced today that it was creating a Specie team – focussing on fine art, jeweller’s block, cash in transit and other associated risks. The team will be part of BMS’ portfolio of specialist insurance businesses.

The team will be led, in due course, by Bob Diggory, who has several decades of experience in the fine art world and who is currently on ‘garden leave’ from his previous position.

Darren Doherty, Managing Director of BMS Direct & Facultative commented: “This is a natural development for the insurance side of our business, which focuses entirely on specialist sectors which need the care and attention of real experts.

“We are delighted to be welcoming Bob and look forward to giving him the platform to develop his offering to the market as a very real alternative to the larger broking houses.”
